Random Memories of Nara

While I was in Nara, I remember the innkeeper asking me to place a pin on the map for where I was from.
I placed one pin on Singapore.
And one on Indore.
Later we went upstairs and smoked together.
I smoked Cabin Roasts.
She rolled her own cigarettes.
We talked about life.
Good times.
Inception

I Smile and Stare

I smile at life,
I smile at fate.
I smile at you.
That’s all I do.
I stare at stars,
I stare at trees.
I stare at all
life lets me see.
Fed through these tubes,
That pierce my veins.
I feel the pain
and smile again.
Can’t move my limbs.
Can’t move my head.
Paralysis.
Far worse than death.
Far worse than hell.
Trapped in this shell.
Trapped in this chair,
I smile [...]
