Birthday Blues

Things started out on a great note. Agas invited me to dinner to meet his dad who had just come to Singapore. We went to a restaurant called Crystal Jade Palace. Pretty cool place…and the food was nice too. I tried Sharks fin for the first time in my life! It tasted like…umm…well…seafood . Not that I had very high expectations or anything…lol. Supportive friends that we are…hehe…most of our time was spent making fun of Agas and pulling his leg in front of his dad, while Agas just sat there like a good boy with a perpetual embarrassed expression on his face . Heck…even his dad joined in and gave us more ammo…hahaha!!! Poor Agas…thank god I didn’t have it this bad when my parents visited . Vanga the great miraculously projected himself to be the most bhola bhala and decent guy of the group….the sneaky bastard !! I should make a zip file containing Vanga’s voice recording while he mouths Telegu obsceneties along with the XXXmas 2005 video back to his house….muhuaaahahahahha.

The Champ, as always, made her quintessential Champ like comment when she asked under her breath…”hey…isn’t Shanghai in Hongkong?”. Well done Champ! What evening would be complete without you! And dear lord…you were actually doin’ personal shopping while everyone was waiting for you at the dinner table! The nerve!

After eating, screwing Agas and general chit chat, we left for NTU. Everybody was talking about how they’re gonna kick the living crap outta me during my sabo to relieve exam stress and mostly vent out emotional pain and troubles they have in life. But before that…retarded photo session time !!

When we reached campus it was almost 12 . I tried to bribe my way out…but to no avail. Anyway…at around 12:40 we had the sabo. The photos speak for themselves .

Anks,Shanty n everyone got me a T-shirt, the entire Band of Brothers DVD set & and a Stefanie Sun Live in Honk Kong VCD set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, I looooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeee Band of Brothers!!! It soooo rocks! It’s my favourite mini-series ever. Period.

And Stefanie Sun…………..
……has there ever been a more beautiful looking Singaporean girl?? I think not!! She’s just the kind of girl you dream about. Sweet looking…incredibly cute and so extremely hot at the same time. Andddddd….she sports short hair (I have a thing for girls with short hair ) ! If only she weren’t married :’(

Well…till that point it was all great. Came back to room…and had to listen to an extremely stupid and boring 4 hour argument between Pari and Anks about which is better, CE or CS. At moments like this, you just wish you had a camcorder.

After that…well…things just went downhill. The rest of the day I was just left to feel alone and crappy to the core. Birthdays have completely lost their charm ever since I came to NTU. Two birthdays so far over here and none of them were ‘Happy’. I fail to see anything even remotely special about them any more. And boy was I angry that day! Extremely angry and extremely hurt about somthing that happened. I don’t think I’ve felt that angry in recent times. Must’ve been the empty Birthday effect coupled with my stupid Starhub connection which randomly decides to give its weakest signal possible on my birthday,which amplified the rage inside even more. Things’re sorta cool now. I could’ve easily let myself be angry for atleast a week over it…but…there’re exams to think about also.

And I had to write this extremely long blog entry right in the middle of exams when I could’ve just slept or studied something. But then, some things just need to be vented out.
