A Slow Weekend

Was a slowish weekend. Went bowling with Pari, and later on to a pub called Durty Nelly’s. Nice little pub with nice ambiance and some really kickass cider! My problem with pubs is that I don’t really like drinking beer, so I end up having lots of expensive drinks. But cider is so fucking awesome! Its really tasty and one pint is only 14$. Its my drink of choice from now on .

Oh…something worth mentioning…Pari’s bowling has improved! He scored above 100 in 2 consecutive games. And he even got one mind boggling, eye popping, un-fucking-believable spare! It was basically a split between 2 alternate pins and he somehow managed to get the bowling ball to go BETWEEN the 2 pins and knock them down. For a second we both thought that the ball would go between the 2 pins without touching them…but it just managed to go EXACTLY between them and hit them along the way! Too bad Cathay’s bowling alley sucks coz it never really registered the spare…LOL!!!!! But I’ve never seen a spare like that…hehehehe!

Apart from that I spent the rest of the weekend watching Earth Girl Arjuna.

Why? Because it has Yoko Kanno’s amazing music! I’ve been listening to its tracks on my iPod ever since.

And now I’m convinced that I need to start learning Japanese.

So that I can move to Japan.

And become a farmer.

And grow organic vegetables.

And weed.

And be Genki.

And high.

Banzaaaii!!!
