Pseudo Resolutions

A few years back I made a New Year’s resolution to never make any resolutions again. Well, I’m gonna stick to that and make some pseudo resolutions instead.

What is a pseduo resolution?
Hmmm…I guess its one of those “It would be nice if I could do so and so in 2009, but I’m not really obliged to”, kind of things.

So here goes…

1. Stop merely saying the words, “Time for new beginnings” and actually do something to make that happen!
2. Drink less. Its a waste of money.
3. Start reaching office earlier than others.
4. Start learning Japanese already! Or else my dreams of becoming a farmer in Japan will never come true!
5. Use my Wacom tablet more frequently to make paintings.
6. Start losing weight already and go back to looking like my profile pic!! I really used to like the way I looked. Now I’m more like a blob!
7. Upgrade my computer! This one is definitely gonna happen . And its gonna kick ass!!
8. Study for GMAT. You’re not alone Agas!
9. Get in touch with all those friends I was out of touch with in 2008. Which means my old gang . Sorry for the leave of absence!
10. Stop making fun of people all the time. I really doubt this will materialize though .
11. Go back to India for some serious partying with Aki,Monu and Shanky!
12. Save enough money for a trip to Japan. Anybody wanna tag along?
13. Expand my music collection!
14. If time permits, learn to play the keyboard better. I’m sure I could play a lot better than I do now if I practised.
15. Start reading books again, like I used to in Bangalore.
16. Keep writing in this blog. My writing skills have really turned to shit. Hope to improve on that in 2009.

I’ll add in more pseudo resolutions later as and when I think of them .

17. Go to karaoke more often in 2009. Its tremendous amounts of fun!
18. Walk in the rain more often like all good rain lovers should
19. Improve my bowling game!
