The Birthday Post

Heeeeee ! Damn…was saving the 100th post for my birthday but wrote stupid emo stuff instead…lol.

Anyway, just to recap, thanks to last week’s smoking escapades (btw, I smoked some more just after writing that last entry), I developed a serious cough and sinus infection.

I’m better now. Had a nice relaxing week thanks to it…and spent more time with my Core i7. I’ll blog about that later.

So at 12 midnight, I was awakened by someone knocking on my door. Outside my room, Praneeth was standing with a huge ass birthday cake in one hand and Pari on the speakerphone in his other hand! Hahaha…was quite surprised and also very touched.

That there’s my Blueberry cheesecake b’day cake…and below that is me with a half sleepy dazed look…lol! But honestly, its one of the sweeter things that someone has done for me on my birthday. Thanks to both Praneeth and Pari . Praneeth especially looked very cute standing there with a candlelit huge b’day cake in one hand and his phone in the other with Pari’s voice coming out of it:P.

Went to sleep soon after. Woke up early for work. Was a fairly relaxed day. One of my colleagues treated me to lunch. So sweet of her ^___^. After that went to Singapore Poly class. Even there the LEAPers had a B’day surprise for me in the classroom. Again was very touched. But idiot that I am, I’m not particularly good at expressing my gratitude. In fact I felt like an asshole because I called one of my LEAP friends’ attempt to surprise me as a bit lame, although it was so sweet of him. I was joking ofcourse, but sometimes I just forget when to stop kidding around. I really hope he knows I was joking, coz I was honestly very very touched and surprised

Anyway, assholish comments aside, I had a great day. I think I’ll definitely remember this b’day. There was nothing fancy, but just the little things really made this day extra special for me.
