Slow weekends suck

Somehow the break neck pace of weekends at the beginning of 2009 has started to mellow down half way through. In fact, I actually have to turn the weekends into something productive!

Yeeeks! Productive! Exactly the opposite of what I want my weekends to be .

This weekend, I went and bought a whole buncha stuff from IKEA, applied for 2 credit cards, planned out more stuff to do on weekends (like piano classes perhaps or language courses) and tried out contact lenses for the first time (2 boxes full of regret).

I also caught a cold. And aggravated it like hell by eating tonnes of spicy seafood followed by hot tea followed by chilled sugarcane juice followed by hot tea followed by sambuca shots followed by hot tea followed by chilled beers followed by dunhill reds followed by hot milo followed by cold showers in the middle of the night (or rather morning) followed by….you guessed it…hot tea. Hot cold hot cold hot cold and my throat is fucked.

And my Sunday, as usual, is being spent doing absofuckinglutely….nothing.
