Whisper of the Heart

All emo posts should be followed up by a happy one. So here it is :) .

I was getting bored at home today. God Shanty…for fuck’s sake, please try and organize something for a change! Anyhoo…I remembered that I was supposed to do an anime movie marathon a few weeks back. So I started off with Whisper of the Heart.

Whisper of the Heart

Whisper of the Heart

Its a lovely and heart-warming movie about a girl who kept issuing books from the library that had coincidentally also been issued by another guy. That’s all I wanna say about the movie ;) . It was really lovely, with a lot of great moments. I especially loved the different versions of the song Country Road that were translated into Japanese. This one was my favourite. The translations were way better in the version I saw though:

Anyway, if you’re looking to watch a nice relaxing movie with believable characters you can relate to, then do watch Whisper of the Heart. It’ll most certainly leave you with a smile on your face :) .

I've always wanted to get into anime, but for some reason just can't.

Anime is one of the things that has changed my life. The other being Yoko Kanno :P .

You don't really need to be a fanatic though to appreciate it. Watch 5 Centimeters per Second. Its a lot more than just anime…its art!

I read webcomics, that's about as far as I've taken my geekdom. I've heard of a bunch of them, like bleach, and ghost in the shell and whatnot.
