The Regular Stuff

It was a rather routine, run-of-the-mill weekend. Not much to blog about really.

Pari and I went to Iluma, the new mall in Bugis. Had lunch at three different places. One was some Fusion place with delicious mini-burgers.

The other two were Japanese restaurants. The first on had amazing food. We tried the octopus omelet, butter salmon, asparagus and bacon, sake and some other delicious stuff too.

The second restaurant was a bit of a letdown. The sashimi and garlic gyoza were nice…but the rest of the stuff we ordered pretty much sucked, including the wasabi.

Anyway, after that we caught a show of The Hangover. Now I wouldn’t go so far as to say that its the funniest movie I’ve ever seen or anything like that, but the movie was pretty darn good and had some very funny moments.

After the movie, we hit a tea joint at Tampines One called Tea Dot. God the tea there sucked donkey balls! How the hell can anyone screw up strawberry and caramel tea?? Any fucking hoo…we came back home and decided to join up with Shanty, NM and Praneeth to go play pool at Monstercue. Played for 4 hours straight, till 3 am in the morning. I’m still feeling a bit sore now coz of that.

Anyway, that’s about it for the weekend. Tomorrow its back to work again *sigh*.
